In that order... Is water boarding torture? Maybe, the important part is I don't care. We had just suffered a bigger attack than the one that made us declare war on the worlds two biggest powers. It was carried out by an identifiable ethnic group. In my opinion we showed great strength by not interring Arabs en mass as was done with the Japanese in WW2. There were a couple hundred people that our military thought had information to prevent another attack and they used techniques that straddled the line to get it. Ok, I don't see the problem yet. Obama is exactly what 40 years of liberals controlling our schools and entertainment produced. He thinks like any 24 hour period of MTV you would like to watch. Watching NBC and CNN you would think we had just gone through a magic 100 days. For me, it’s been a scary 100 days. Obama is exactly what 40 years of liberals controlling our schools and entertainment produced. He thinks like any 24 hour period of MTV you would like to watch. Lincoln suspended habeas-corpus among other things during the civil war. Perhaps we should go back and prosecute him. Roosevelt was a massive civil rights abuser after Pearl Harbor, not to mention his complete disregard of the law of the land in the years prior to. Perhaps we should go back and prosecute him. 9/11 was an attack on par with Pearl Harbor, the means to make sure there weren't more attacks coming soon afterwards were on par with those taken in the years after the Japanese attack. You and I disagree quite a bit on President Bush, but we can agree that he prevented any further attacks on US soil. We have yet to see if Obama's touchy feely approach will have the same success. If not, Bush's tactics will be proven to have been necessary. Obama's position on this is another example of his arrogance. Never say you won't do what another man did until you walk in his shoes.
